The FAIR TAX ACT | The IRS is About to Be Abolished!!! | @JustJWoodfin | #Shorts

The Fair Tax Act is the proposed piece of legislation that aims at changing the federal income tax system in the United States. The main feature of this new system is to replace the current income tax system with a proposed sales tax system. Under this new system, all income tax, payroll tax, and estate tax will be completely abolished and replaced with a national sales tax on average of about 23%. Now, this would also include some sort of a monthly rebate that gets sent to each family based upon their family size every single month in an attempt to kind of offset the higher prices that we would be paying when we actually purchase goods and services. Now those who are trying to put this act into law saying it's gonna simplify the tax system and even stimulate economic growth. Now here's the best part. This is actually going to completely eliminate the IRS and the need for tax agents altogether. This would give you a lot more control of your money and allow you to spend the money wherever you see fit without any further penalties later on in the year. Now, it is important to note that this is still an act and not a law, so it has no effect on us for right now. Now the question is, how will this affect corporations moving forward? 5 Reasons Business Credit is a Bad Idea For You | @JustJWoodfin | #Shorts

Here are five reasons why trying to obtain business credit can be a terrible idea for you. I've seen a lot of gurus across social media pitch a business credit as the end all be all for you getting your business off the ground when in reality you could be digging a financial grave. Let me explain. Number one. Most people who are going after business credit don't even have good personal credit, which means that the business credit that you do apply for will either be irrelevant or extremely expensive. Number two, most of you guys are trying to apply for business credit when you don't even have a business plan, which means that if you do get approved for business credit that most poor personal credit applicants can only qualify for, it's gonna be not only expensive, but the money's gonna pretty much be due right away. That leads me to number three. Most people don't understand that once you obtain a business credit loan, that first payment is due the very next month or the month after, which means that if you have an underdeveloped or unproven business, you're gonna be pulling those funds to pay that account from that business loan, shrinking that loan even faster than if you are applying it to a developed proven business, or you're gonna be paying for it outta your personal saving. Number four, the business loan should not be used to prove a business concept. The business concept should already be proven. A business loan should be applied to getting products for an already successful product line or an expansion of an already successful business. Utilizing a business loan to fund a dream is a very dangerous proposition. Number five, most people don't understand that if you do default on business credit, it will report to your personal credit report regardless of your LLC status and credit repair won't help because the F C R A applies to consumer debt, not business debt. 0% Interest Credit Cards Can Ruin You | @JustJWoodfin | #Shorts

0% interest rate cards will do you in. Here's why. 0% interest rate cards apply for a period of about six months to usually 21 months. During that time, they charge you no interest, but there are two things you need to be aware of. On a 0% interest rate card, if you're ever late on a payment, they have the right to cancel out your 0% interest rate right then and there, which could at that very point, start calculating interest and then be due on your very next. You might not be financially prepared for this. The second thing I hate about 0% interest cards is deferred interest at the end of the term. See, if you carry a balance at the end of the term, they can actually retroactively charge you interest all the way from the beginning of the term when you made your very first purchase with that card all the way until the end. What this means is that the interest will actually compound. So if you have a thousand dollars balance at the end of the term, you won't be charged a thousand plus 20%, which is 1200. We'll be charged a thousand plus 20% for month one, which is $1,200. In month two, that $1,200 will hit 20%, which is 1440. In month three, that 1440 will hit 20%, which is 1,728. The next month, that 1,728 incurs, 20% interest and so on and so forth. By the time you get to the end of that, you can end up owing upwards of almost $9,000 on using a card for $1,000 at the beginning of that 12 months 0% interest rate. So while 0% interest rate cards are really, really good, especially during that intro period, be very, very careful how you operate with them moving forward. Because leaving any balance of any kind can really put you in a bind when it comes to the end of that intro period.
